About Me

I live at the edge of a beautiful wilderness area - the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). My studio literally looks out over a boundary waters entry point lake where beyond is a million acres of wilderness bordering Canada.

From my studio I create the treasures you see here. I love working with metals and fire. I like to combine metals like copper, brass, silver, and vintage silver plate. It's tricky because of the different melting temperatures of the metals, but it keeps me interested. I'm very tactile, so my purses and other little luxuries will often have velvet or silk or something else sumptuous that you can't stop touching. One of my favorite things is combining colors and textures.
